FTTH Amsterdam Hoofddorppleinbuurt
Deployment of a Fibre-Optic Network in a District More Than 100 Years Old

Project type
In the residential district of Hoofddorppleinbuurt in Amsterdam, built in the 1920s and protected as a cultural and historical urban area, Kodar Energomontaža successfully delivered a turnkey FTTH (Fiber to the Home) project for more than 10,000 users.
The specific urban and architectural context required careful planning and an individual approach to each building. Special attention was given to the discreet integration of fibre-optic infrastructure into the existing architecture, more than 100 years old. Working in an environment of old and sensitive buildings meant that the works could not alter even the smallest detail.
The result of our work is a modern FTTH network that naturally fits into the historic urban structure of Hoofddorppleinbuurt, providing residents with reliable access to modern digital infrastructure.
