FTTH Amsterdam Bijlmer Oost
Modern Infrastructure in Harmony with Nature

Project type
The construction of a fibre-optic network in an environment with strict environmental protection requirements presented the Kodar team with a clear task — to deliver modern infrastructure with minimal impact on the natural surroundings and existing infrastructure.
The Amsterdam Bijlmer Oost project included works in an area characterised by high environmental standards. The fibre-optic infrastructure routes passed through green areas, so special attention was given to protecting trees and root systems. Excavation and network installation also required continuous care for soil stability and the surrounding environment, as part of the route was located within a polder system, with controlled water levels and shallow groundwater.
After the works were completed, we restored the green areas to preserve both the functionality and the appearance of the space.
Through this project, the Kodar team confirmed its expertise and responsible approach, successfully delivering infrastructure works in harmony with nature, without disturbing the character of the area or its environmental values.
