A solar power plan was built and commissioned in just 90 days
Project type
Just 90 days for an 8 MW solar power plant executed on the terrain furrowed by gullies? Since the project was developed in less than nine months, we were given the task to build and commission an entire solar power plant in just 90 days — all this in while facing with intense soil erosion, caused by rainwater flow and snow towing.
We split into two teams. The first team dealt with the construction of the solar power plant and detailed examination of each segment of the site in order to ensure stability of the structure and optimum solar panel tilt angle on the eroded ground. The second team, in parallel with the construction of the power plant, dealt with the execution of the connection to the electric power grid, as well as compiling the entire documentation, from certificates of compliance to documentation referring to the connection and purchase of electricity.
The results of our work speak for themselves.
We commissioned the solar power plant in Novi Selo, in the municipality of Lebane, in just 90 days – without a single complaint. This solar power plant now supplies around 2,700 households annually with clean electricity. Furthermore, we managed to redirect water flows on the site and reduce the effect of soil erosion. Once again, we have demonstrated that knowledge, commitment and team spirit are what makes the company Kodar outstanding.
