Construction of Cable Telecom and Power Networks
Position Overview
We are looking for multiple candidates, with or without prior experience, to join our team in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing manual and mechanical excavation for laying power and telecom cables
- Laying and positioning cables according to technical drawings and safety guidelines
- Backfilling trenches and preparing surfaces for reinstatement
- Installing and leveling concrete slabs after construction work is completed
- Installing, assembling, and connecting street distribution cabinets for fiber optic and/or power networks
- Collaborating with team members and following instructions from the team leader
- Adhering to safety and occupational health procedures at all stages of work
- Using hand and power tools
Requirements
- Citizenship of an EU member state
- Category B driver’s license (advantage)
- Responsible and detail-oriented approach to work
- Willingness to work in the field and travel domestically and abroad
- Experience operating small construction and excavation machinery (preferred)
- Previous experience in cable network works — excavation, laying, finishing works (advantage)
