Construction of cable telecommunication networks
Position Overview
We are looking for multiple candidates, with or without prior experience, to work in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Blowing fiber optic cables into installation ducts and conduits
- Splicing fiber optic cables and fibers
- Installing and connecting patch panels inside central and street distribution cabinets
- Installing home connections for end users, inside residential and commercial buildings
- Collaborating with team members and following instructions from the team leader
- Adhering to safety and occupational health regulations at all stages of work
- Using hand and power tools specialized for fiber optic network installation
Requirements
- Citizenship of an EU member state
- Preferably completed secondary vocational education (Level III or IV)
- Basic knowledge of English (preferred)
- Previous experience working on fiber optic networks (preferred)
- Category B driver’s license (preferred)
- Willingness to work at heights, while adhering to all safety rules and regulations (preferred)
- Reliability and precision in performing tasks
